You can find us over at Brajraj Nagar on Dhampura Road in Jagdalpur. We’re in Block number 42, which is a pretty easy spot to find if you know the area. The office is just a couple of rooms that we’ve filled with chairs and old tables. It’s not fancy, and the paint is peeling in a few places, but it’s our home base. We spend most of our time dealing with whatever social issues are bothering the people around here. Jagdalpur is a good place, but like anywhere, it has its share of problems. People come in and tell us what’s going on, and we just listen. We don’t pretend to have all the solutions. Sometimes we just offer a bit of advice or help someone fill out some paperwork. We don't have a big staff, just a few of us who care about the town. Most days are long, and we end up staying way past dark. The streetlights on Dhampura Road are a bit dim, but it’s a safe enough walk home. We don't use any corporate talk or have big meetings about missions. We just want to be useful to the folks who live nearby. It’s basic work, and it can be tiring, but we keep showing up. We’re just regular neighbors trying to make the community a little bit better, one day at a time, from our small office in 494001.
