Reliance Communications Ltd.

Our office is located at D-23 in the Maruti Residency area of Amlidih. It’s a part of Raipur that has a lot of people living nearby, so it feels very lived-in. Reliance Communications Ltd. is set up here in a way that feels more like a home than a big corporate headquarters. We have some simple desks and chairs, and the windows look out over the street. It’s nice to see the neighborhood wake up in the morning while we are getting the first batch of work done. Raipur can get incredibly hot, so the air conditioner is usually running at full blast, which makes a bit of a rattling noise. We don't have a receptionist or a big lobby. If you come in, you usually just see one of us sitting there working on a computer. We handle all the local stuff from this desk. It’s a practical setup for the kind of work we do. We don't spend money on fancy rugs or expensive coffee machines. We just have a regular kettle and some mugs. The staff here has been together for a while, so we don't need to be formal with each other. We just talk across the room. It is a very direct way of working. Most of our days are spent checking logs and making sure the service is staying up for everyone in the area. We just keep our heads down and do the work that is required.
