You can find Raipur Textiles Private Limited at B-2, on the ground floor of Crystal Tower in Telibandha. It’s a busy part of town, which is good for business but bad for parking. We’ve been here for a while now, dealing in all sorts of textile goods. The office is a bit small for all the stuff we keep in it, but we make it work. Most days it’s just the sound of the fan and the phones ringing. We aren't trying to change the world, just trying to provide decent textiles to the people who need them. Telibandha has changed a lot since we moved in. There are more shops and more people now. We spend a lot of time checking invoices and making sure the trucks are on time. Sometimes they aren't, and we have to spend the afternoon tracking them down. We don't use any slick sales talk or corporate jargon. We just tell people what we have and what it costs. It’s a simple way to run things. My father used to say that if you do honest work, you don't need to worry about much else. We try to stick to that. It’s not always easy with the way prices go up and down, but we are still here, doing our best every day.
