Raipur Alloys

Even though the name is Raipur Alloys, we are actually operating through the Abu Dhabi Polymers Co. Ltd setup over here in Abu Dhabi. It is a bit of a distance from India but that is where the work takes us. We are located in the AE region and deal with alloy materials within the industrial zones there. It is a very different environment from the city of Raipur but the work is mostly the same at the core. We spend our days looking at figures and managing how the alloys move through the polymer company’s systems. The buildings here are modern and everything is very hot outside so we stay in the air conditioning mostly. It is an international spot so you hear a lot of different languages being spoken in the hallways and the canteen. We are part of the larger network that handles industrial materials for big projects in the Gulf. It isn't like a small family shop back home. It is more about the big machines and the massive storage areas. Still, we keep our own corner of the office and manage the Raipur Alloys side of things as best as we can. We do a lot of coordination between the different departments here. It is a lot of emails and phone calls to make sure the specific alloy requirements are met for the polymers business. We don't really have a lot of walk-in visitors.
