Priyanka Pd International Foundation

You can find us at Smt. Bhargavi Das’s place in Sanyashipara. That is over in Ward No 16 in Raipur. It’s a local neighborhood, the kind where everyone knows when someone new walks down the street. Priyanka Pd International Foundation is run right out of this house. We don't have fancy office furniture or a big sign outside. Most of the time, we’re just sitting in the front room with some tea, working through the tasks for the day. Raipur is getting bigger and noisier, but Sanyashipara still has that old feeling to it. We started this because we wanted to do something useful for people, and using a corner of the house seemed like the most honest way to get going. We don't have a lot of people working here, just a few friends and family who help out when they can. Sometimes the neighbors come by to chat or see what we are working on. It gets hot in the summer, so we usually have the fans going full blast while we try to organize our next projects. We aren't trying to impress anyone with a big corporate look. We just want to get the work done. Living and working in the same place means the work never really stops, but that’s okay with us. It’s just a normal house in a normal street, doing what we can for the community. We are just regular people trying to make a little difference here.
