Pravah Foundation

We are based over at New Talab Road, specifically at House Number 8/1450. It’s right near Mahavir School in the Gudiyari area of Raipur. The road gets pretty busy when school lets out, but we like the energy. Pravah Foundation is just a small operation we started from this house. It’s not a big corporate office with glass walls or anything fancy. We have some basic furniture and a lot of papers scattered around. Mostly, we just try to help out people in our part of Chhattisgarh. Sometimes folks from the neighborhood wander in to ask what we are doing. We tell them we’re just trying to be useful. It’s been a bit of a climb getting things organized. We aren't experts at running a foundation, but we are learning as we go. The summers here in Raipur are really hot, so we usually get most of our work done early in the morning before the sun gets too high. We don’t have a big team of professionals. It’s just a few of us who live nearby and wanted to do something. We don't have any polished speeches or big slogans. We just show up at the house every day and see what needs to be handled. Sometimes it’s paperwork, sometimes it’s going out to meet people. We just keep it simple and try to stay honest about what we can actually do for the community.
