Parinati Svakara Foundation

The Parinati Svakara Foundation operates out of Gomti Bhavan, which is over in the Gayatri Nagar area of Dangania in Raipur. We are located with Sanjay Pandey and Chandrika. It’s a very local setup, right in the heart of the residential neighborhood. We started this because we felt that there were things we could do to help the community that weren't being done by others. We aren’t a big, polished organization with a marketing team or fancy suits. Most of what we do is just talking to our neighbors and seeing where we can lend a hand. Whether it's helping someone with paperwork or organizing a small local gathering, we just try to be useful. The office at Gomti Bhavan is pretty basic, but it serves our needs just fine. We have our fair share of slow days and days where everything seems to happen at once. The traffic around Dangania can be a bit of a nightmare during rush hour, but we’re used to it by now. We don't have a grand vision; we just want to help people here in Raipur however we can. It’s a lot of small steps and everyday effort from a few dedicated people. We’ve lived here a long time, so we know the people and the problems they face. We’re just trying to do our part in our own small way. It feels like the right thing to do with our time and effort.
