Omti Foundation

Omti Foundation is tucked away at 29 Ekta Campus in the Ashwani Nagar part of Sundar Nagar. If you’re familiar with Raipur, you know it can get pretty busy, but our little corner is usually alright. We’ve been here for a while, just trying to be a positive part of the city. We didn’t start with a big plan or a lot of money. It was just a few of us thinking we could help out with some local issues. Our office isn't much to look at—just some desks, chairs, and a lot of empty coffee cups by the end of the day. We spend our days talking to people and trying to figure out how to solve small problems before they get big. It’s a lot of legwork, really. We walk around the neighborhood quite a bit to see what’s actually happening on the ground. Being in Ekta Campus is good because people know us there and they know we are approachable. We aren't trying to be some huge international group with thousands of employees. We just want to make sure the people in our part of Raipur are doing okay. Sometimes the heat in the summer makes it tough to stay focused, but we have a couple of fans that do the trick. We just take things as they come and try to be honest about what we can and can’t do. It’s just us, working hard in Sundar Nagar every single day.
