M/S. Raipur Alloys & Steel Ltd. is located right in Adarsh Nagar, over by the Charoda Post B.M.Y. in Durg district. If you know the 490 025 pin code area, you know it is quite an industrial patch of Chhattisgarh. Our setup here is focused mostly on the day-to-day handling of steel and various alloys. It is heavy work, and the yard is usually full of trucks coming in with raw materials or leaving with finished loads. The heat from the metal and the machines is just something we got used to over the years. We have a small office on-site where we keep the registers and logbooks, but most of the action happens out on the floor. The staff here mostly comes from the nearby towns, so we have a pretty tight-knit group. We don't have a big corporate headquarters; we just work out of this facility in Durg. Sometimes the machines need a bit of extra maintenance, which slows things down, but we just roll up our sleeves and get them running again. Dealing with metal requires a lot of patience and physical strength. We just try to keep the production moving so we can meet our local commitments. It isn't a glamorous job, but it is what we do, and we’ve been doing it for quite some time now without complaining about the grease or the noise. We just show up and do the work the best we can every morning.
