Our spot is located out in Jamul, which is part of the Durg district. We are situated right in the Acc Colony, specifically at house number D-12. It is an industrial area, so the life of the town pretty much revolves around the cement works here. You can see the tall chimneys from almost anywhere you stand. We have lived and worked in this colony for many years now. It is a tight-knit community where everyone knows who is who. The work we do is mostly about managing the cement production and making sure the whole plant is running okay day and night. It is dusty work, there is really no denying that at all. Your car, your house, and even the trees get a thin layer of grey dust on them if you don't clean them every single day. But that is just part of living in Jamul. We spend a lot of our time at the works and then we just come back to the colony to rest. It is a simple and steady routine for us. The people who live here are hard-working and we have been through a lot of seasons together. It is not a glamorous life, but it is our life. We just keep doing the same job.
