We are located on the third floor of the Wallfort Ozone building, in room 309. It is right near Fafadih Chowk on the Bilaspur Road. Being up on the third floor means we don't get many people just walking in from the street, which is fine because we stay busy with our organic food work. We spend our days coordinating with growers and checking on the pulses and grains we have in stock. The office is usually filled with the scent of raw food products and there are glass jars everywhere for testing samples. Fafadih is a pretty noisy part of town, but once you get inside the building and up the lift, it is a bit more peaceful. We are just a small group of people trying to provide food that is grown the right way, without all the extra chemicals. Sometimes the elevator breaks down and we have to carry samples up the stairs, which is a bit of a workout. We don't have any big corporate goals or fancy mission statements. We just want to make sure the food we sell is good quality. Some days are stressful when the transport trucks get stuck in the Bilaspur Road traffic, but that is just part of the job. We take our breaks together and talk about normal things, like family or the weather. It is a practical, honest workplace where we just do what needs to be done.
