This part of our operation is based in Naharpalli, which is in the Kharsia Tahsil of Raigarh district. Sudhir Panigrahy is our senior civil engineer here, and he handles a lot of the ground-level stuff. We focus on the heavy side of things, like steel and energy production. The site in Naharpalli is very much a working environment. It is not the kind of place you go for a quiet meeting. There is always construction or maintenance going on. We have a lot of equipment moving around and engineers checking on the structural details. It is a lot of outdoor work and dealing with the elements. Sometimes the heat in Raigarh is almost too much, but the work has to get done. We do not bother with fancy office furniture or decorations. Our desks are usually covered in maps and site plans. We are more concerned with the strength of the buildings and the efficiency of the power lines than we are with looking polished. It is a practical, hands-on type of job. We have a team that knows the local terrain well. We just show up every morning, check the progress of the projects, and try to stay on schedule. It can be exhausting, but it is what we know how to do. We do not make it sound better than it is; it is just tough, necessary work for the region.
