About Maruti Granites – Building & Construction Material in Raipur
Out in the village of Uparawar, in the Abhnpur block, that’s where Maruti Granites is set up. It’s a good distance from the main city noise, which suits us just fine. We have a lot of space out here for the granite blocks and the cutting equipment. It’s a rural area, so things move a bit slower, and we know most of our neighbors. Working with granite is heavy, hard work, and our hands usually show it by the end of the week. We’ve got the yard where we keep the big slabs and a small building for the paperwork. Sometimes the power goes out in the village, and we have to wait it out, but that’s just how it is living and working in Uparawar. We get people coming from all over the block when they’re finishing a house or a shop. We don't have a fancy showroom, just the stone itself sitting out there under the sun. It’s honest work. My cousin helps out with the transport, and we use an old truck that’s seen better days but still runs okay. We spend a lot of time just checking the edges of the stones and making sure the cuts are right. It’s dusty, and it’s loud when the saws are running, but we like being out here in the village. It’s home for us and our business. We’ve been cutting stone here for years now and don't plan on moving anywhere else.
