Pradeep is the one who mostly runs things here at the lab in Ujjain. It’s located on Lal Bai Ful Bai Marg, number 49. If you call the number 9926059355, you’ll probably get one of us answering between tests. We spend our days looking at samples and writing down numbers. It’s a lot of technical stuff that would bore most people. The office is tucked away in a busy part of the district. Ujjain is a spiritual place for many, but for us, it’s just where we work every day. We’ve got our equipment set up and we follow the procedures. It’s not like those fancy labs you see on TV. Our place is practical. There are files stacked up on the shelves and we use old-fashioned pens to mark the logs. Sometimes the electricity goes out and we have to wait for the generator to kick in so we don't lose our data. It’s just me and a few others. We aren't part of some massive corporation. We’re just Marshal Test Labs, a local spot in Madhya Pradesh. We take the work seriously because that’s what we are paid for. Pradeep’s father, Bhuwan Lal Sadiwal, started things off and we’ve just kept it going. It’s a quiet sort of business, mostly just us and our machines doing what needs to be done. We don't have much to say about ourselves other than that we are here every day.
