Lafarge India Pvt. Ltd. Raipur Sonadih

We are based near Hotel Usa in the East Patery area of Satna, which is in Madhya Pradesh. This is part of the Raipur Sonadih operations for the company. The area is quite industrial and dusty, which is normal for this part of the country. We are close to the main roads, so it is easy for the transport to move in and out. It is a rugged kind of place, not much for scenery. We spend most of our time out on the site or in the small office we have here. The weather gets very intense, either very hot or very muddy when it rains. We have been operating from this Satna location for quite a while. Most of the people around here know us. It is a straightforward operation without any bells or whistles. We just focus on getting the daily load out. There is a lot of heavy machinery noise in the background most days. We do not have a fancy entrance, just a gate and the road. It is an honest day's work for everyone involved. The guys here are local and know the ground well. We do not really have many visitors, just the usual logistics folks. It is just how we live and work in this corner of MP. We do not try to be anything we are not. It is just hard work and long days at the yard.
