Jayaswal Neco Limited(Steel Plant)

Out in the Manbela Khas area of Gorakhpur, the steel plant keeps us all pretty busy. We are located near the Jhugia Bajar post office, which is a lively spot in Uttar Pradesh. Working with steel means the place is always hot and full of heavy metal moving around. You can usually smell the machinery and the heat as soon as you get close. We haven’t built a fancy glass office because that wouldn’t make sense here. Our space is built for the reality of production. Shifts come and go, and the noise of the plant is something we’ve all grown used to. Dust is everywhere, but that’s just part of the deal in this industry. The roads around here can be tough, especially when the big trucks are moving loads in and out. Most of our time goes into tracking the orders and keeping an eye on the furnaces. It’s not the place for anyone who wants a quiet desk job or clean clothes. Many of us have been in this line of work for a long time, so the routine is second nature now. We just stay focused on the steel and making sure it gets where it needs to go. Life at the plant is repetitive, but it’s important work that needs doing. We don’t waste time on anything that doesn't help the plant run. It is hard work, but we are used to it.
