Jai Shakti Broker

We are located at Shop No. 161 in Samta Nagar. Our place is right opposite the Anaj Mandi. Being across from the grain market means it is always noisy and dusty around here. That is just how it is for a broker. We spend our time connecting buyers and sellers. My desk is usually covered in scraps of paper with numbers on them. People come into the shop all day long to talk about prices and what’s available in the mandi. It is a lot of talking and a lot of tea. We have been in Samta Nagar for quite some time. The shop isn't big, but it’s enough for what we do. We don't have any fancy posters or a website that looks professional. It’s just a place to do business. Sometimes the deals go through quickly, and other times they take forever. You have to have a lot of patience in this line of work. The weather affects the mood of the market a lot. When the rains are good, everyone is happy. When it’s dry, things get a little tense. We just try to stay in the middle of it and keep things moving. We aren't doing anything special, just helping people trade their goods like brokers have always done. It’s a simple life but it keeps us busy from morning till night. We just take it one day at a time.
