If you are looking for Jai Maha Maya General Store, we are right by the Apollo Cancer Hospital. It’s near the Ching Para Prabhat Chowk and not far from Bharat Mata Chowk either. Being near a hospital means we see a lot of different people every single day. Some are just passing through and others are staying nearby for a while. We keep a bit of everything because you never know what someone might need at the last minute. It might be a snack, some soap, or just a cold drink when it’s hot outside. The store isn't huge, but we pack a lot into the space we have. It can get a bit crowded when a few people come in at once, but we manage. My cousin helps me out most afternoons when the hospital visitors start moving around more. We don't have a fancy website or any of that stuff. We just open the shutters in the morning and wait for the day to start. The area is always noisy with the traffic from the chowk, but you get used to it after a week or two.
