Our base is in Kabir Nagar, specifically at HIG D/137 in Phase I. Raipur is our home, and this neighborhood has a very local, established feel to it. Working from an HIG house means we have a bit more room than a standard small shop, but it’s still very much a neighborhood setting. We deal in pharmaceuticals, so our rooms are filled with shelves and boxes rather than typical home furniture. It’s a busy place, even if it looks quiet from the outside. We spend a lot of time checking batches and making sure all the paperwork is filed correctly. There’s always a bit of dust because of the local construction, so we’re constantly cleaning the surfaces. The people around Kabir Nagar are mostly families, so we try to keep our operations low-key so we don't disturb anyone. It’s a honest way to earn a living, and we’ve been doing it this way for a while. We don't use any fancy marketing tricks or have a big sales team. It’s just us handling the stock and making sure things get where they need to go. In the afternoons, when it gets really hot, we usually slow down a bit and catch up on the reading part of the job. It’s a comfortable enough spot to work from and we’ve gotten used to the rhythms of Phase I. It’s just a normal day-to-day business for us here.
