Heena Camera Repairing

If you have a camera that’s stopped working, you can come find us at the R.D.A. Building near Sharda Chowk. Our shop is C-10, and we are right next to Dr. Dabke’s clinic. It’s a very small shop, mostly because you don't need much room to work on cameras. We have shelves filled with old lenses and tiny plastic bins for all the screws and springs. It can look a bit cluttered to someone walking in, but there is a system to it. We get all kinds of cameras brought in, from the old film ones to the new digital models. We spend most of our time sitting at a small bench with a bright light and a magnifying glass. It takes a lot of patience to figure out why a shutter isn't firing or why a lens is blurry. We've been at Sharda Chowk for many years now and we've seen a lot of cameras come and go. We don't do any big advertising. People just find us when they need something fixed. We try to be honest about whether a camera is worth repairing or if it’s better to just get a new one. It’s a quiet kind of work and we quite like it that way. The building can be a bit noisy with people going to the doctor next door, but we just focus on the task at hand and ignore the street noise.
