Gujarat Ambuja Cements Ltd.

Our office is over in the Green Orchid area of Avani Vihar, out in Raipur. It’s a newer part of town near Daldal Seoni, so there is always some construction happening nearby. We work out of unit J-19, managing the cement distribution for Gujarat Ambuja Cements Ltd. The office isn't anything special to look at, just a place with some desks, chairs, and a lot of ledgers. Being in Chhattisgarh, we deal with a lot of local builders who are always looking for reliable supply. The heat in Raipur can be something else, so we keep the fans going all day. It’s a pretty basic operation. We spend our mornings checking on the truck arrivals and the rest of the day sorting out the orders. The neighbors are mostly residential, so we try not to make too much noise. You’ll often see us standing outside having a quick tea while waiting for a delivery driver to call. We don't bother with fancy presentations. If someone wants to know about the cement, we just show them what we have and give them the price. It’s honest work and it keeps us occupied from morning until evening. The area is growing fast, which keeps the demand for what we do pretty steady. We just try to keep up with the daily flow of requests. It’s simple and it works for us.
