Grasim Industries Ltd.

We are located out in Rawan, in the Grasim Vihar colony near Raipur. It’s a bit of a distance from the main city, but this is where the cement work happens. Living and working in the same area means we really know the place. The office at H4060 is where we handle the daily grind of the cement business. It’s dusty work, and the sun gets pretty hot out here in the open, but we’re used to it by now. Most of our days are spent checking on the plant or making sure the dispatches are moving out on time. There’s a lot of movement with the trucks coming in and out. It’s a tight-knit community here because most of us work for the same outfit. We aren’t trying to be anything we’re not. We just make sure the production stays on track. Sometimes the machinery acts up and we have a long day, but that’s part of the trade. We have our lunch together and talk about the local news. It’s a simple life out here in Raipur. We focus on the bags and the bulk orders. You won’t find any fancy suits in this office. Just people in work clothes trying to finish the shift. We’ve been here for years, and the landscape around the Vihar hasn't changed much, which is fine by us. We just do the job. It's a long day sometimes but we like the quiet of the evening after the trucks stop.
