Grasim Cement, Raipur

We have our spot set up here in Janjgir Champa at the Gopal Nagar area. Most people know us by the quarter number, which is E/81. It is part of the Lafarge Aresmeta Cement Division under the Grasim name. Dealing with cement in Raipur and the surrounding regions means things are always a bit dusty and loud. We aren't in a big glass building. It is just a practical space where we handle the logistics and all the daily paperwork that comes with this kind of work. Bilaspur can get really hot during the summer months, so we spend a lot of our time inside under the fans. The trucks are constantly moving in and out of the area, and we have to keep track of everything. It’s a lot of work, but we’ve been doing it for a while now. We don't have a big reception area or any fancy stuff for visitors. It’s just a place where we get the job done. Sometimes the phones don't stop ringing and other times it is quiet enough to hear the birds outside. We live and work around here, so we know the local roads and the people quite well. It isn't a flashy life, but it’s our life. We try to keep things moving as best as we can without making too much of a fuss.
