Gohil Merchants

Gohil Merchants is located on Farm Road in Mudipara. We are right near the State Bank of India, which makes it easy for people to find us when they are out doing their errands. The road gets a bit muddy when the monsoon hits, but that’s just how it is around here. We’ve been in this spot for quite a few years and have seen the neighborhood change a little bit. We deal with various goods and keep the shelves stocked as best as we can. The building is an older one, so it stays relatively cool inside even when it’s burning up outside. We usually have the radio playing in the background while we sort through the latest shipments. Being so close to the bank means there’s always someone walking past, and we recognize most of the faces. We aren't trying to be the biggest place in town, just a reliable one where you can get what you need without a lot of fuss. Sometimes the delivery trucks have to park a bit further down the road if it’s a busy morning. We just walk the crates over manually when that happens. It keeps us moving and makes the day go by faster. We are just a bunch of regular people working here on Farm Road. Every morning we open up the shutters and get started on whatever tasks the day brings.
