We've been operating Ganjir Style Footwear from the house at number 148 in Odragahan for some time now. It’s a quiet village near Jamgaon in Patan. People around here know the Sahu family well, and we handle the business right from our base here. There isn't a big glass storefront or anything fancy like that. Just us working on shoes and making sure people have something decent to wear on their feet. Living and working in Durg means we see our neighbors every day, so we have to keep things straight. It started small because that’s just how things go in rural areas. My family helps out and we keep track of everything in our ledger. Sometimes the weather makes things a bit slow, especially during the heavy rains, but we manage. You can find us if you ask for Shri Sanwat Ram Sahu's place. We don't have a lot of big machinery, mostly just hands-on work. It's nothing too complicated, just a footwear business trying to stay steady in our little corner of Chhattisgarh. People come by for slippers or shoes and we talk about the crops or the weather while they look around. It's a simple life. We don't spend money on big ads because word of mouth in the village is enough. We're just glad to be working here in the village instead of moving to a big city. It keeps us close to home and family.
