Chhapadia & Brothers

Our place is tucked away in Street No.1 over in the New Timber Market area of Fafadih. It is a noisy part of town with all the trucks coming and going but we are used to it by now. My brothers and I spend most of our time out in the yard dealing with the stock. There is usually a lot of dust in the air because of all the wood being moved around. It is hard work and our hands are always rough from handling the material. We don't have a fancy office or anything like that. Just a small desk where we keep the papers and a few chairs for when people come by to talk about what they need. Some days are slower than others but there is always something that needs stacking or sorting. Fafadih has a lot of energy and being in the timber market means we see all sorts of people. We just try to keep things organized as much as we can though it gets messy sometimes. It is just a family thing where everyone knows their job. We have been in this spot for a long time and the neighbors all know us. It is not the cleanest job in the world but it is what we know how to do. You just get used to the smell of sawdust after a few years and the constant sound of saws in the distance. We mostly just keep to ourselves and get the logs moved.
