Elecrician

Our workplace is a bit different because we are actually based right at the cement plant. We’re located at Ayoki Fabricon, which is care of Ambuja Cements over in Rawan. It’s out in the Balodabazar district, quite a way from the main city of Raipur. Living and working around here in Chattisgarh means you get used to the industrial environment pretty quickly. There is always something going on with the kilns and the machinery in the distance. We mostly handle the electrical side of things, making sure everything stays running as it should. It’s a lot of walking around the site and checking on equipment. The dust is part of the job, and we all have our boots and gear ready at all times. Since we are out at the plant, we don’t have a typical storefront or a city office. It’s a practical setup meant for work, not for showing off. The canteen is where most of us meet up for a quick break. The weather gets really hot in the summer, but that’s just how it is in this part of the country. We just focus on the tasks at hand and try to stay on top of the maintenance schedule. It’s honest work and it keeps us busy from morning until evening. You won’t find any fancy decorations here, just tools and cables and the sound of the plant.
