D.S.Constructions Ltd

Our small office is tucked away at number 3 Nawab Badruddin Street in Kolkata. If you know the area, you know it can get pretty crowded and the streets are narrow, but it has a lot of character. We have been working as D.S.Constructions Ltd from this location for a good while. The building is older, and sometimes the fans make a bit of noise, but it works for us. We aren't a huge corporation with hundreds of people in suits. Instead, we are just a handful of folks who know how to handle bricks, mortar, and steel. Most of our day is spent on the phone with suppliers or checking on how things are going at the work sites across the city. Sometimes things get delayed because of the rain or transport issues, which is just part of life in Kolkata. We don't have a flashy lobby or a receptionist to greet people at the door. Usually, you’ll just find one of us sitting at a wooden desk covered in blueprints and empty tea cups. We prefer it this way. It’s practical and it keeps our costs down. People in the neighborhood often stop by just to say hello or ask a quick question about some work they need help with. We try to be helpful and honest about what can be done and how long it will take. It’s just a normal business running in a normal street.
