Diwan Opticals & Optometric Clinic

We are located at No. 38-B in the Crystal Arcade over in Shankar Nagar. If you know the arcade, you know it’s a very busy place with lots of different shops. Diwan Opticals & Optometric Clinic is right in the middle of all that activity. We spend our days looking at eyes and fitting frames for people. It’s a lot of sitting and testing, then picking out the right glass for the frames. The shop is filled with rows of frames on the walls. It’s not a huge space, so things can feel a bit tight when a whole family comes in at once to get their eyes checked. We’ve been here long enough that we know the other shopkeepers in the arcade pretty well. We grab tea from the same guy every afternoon around four. The lighting inside our shop is very bright because we need to see exactly what we’re doing with the lenses. Sometimes people just stop in to get their glasses tightened or cleaned for free. We don’t mind doing it. It’s just part of being a local shop in Shankar Nagarn. We don’t have a big corporate manual or anything fancy. We just talk to people like normal neighbors. If a pair of glasses doesn't fit right, we spend the time to fix it. It’s a practical business. Shankar Nagar can be hectic, but once you find us at 38-B, it’s just about getting your vision sorted.
