Devji Export

Devji Export is located right across from National Tailor, not too far from the Chhotapara Masjid. It’s a busy little area and we’ve been part of it for some time now. We mainly handle getting goods ready to go out to different places. It's a lot of boxes and paperwork most days. The space we have isn't fancy, but it gets the job done for what we do. We deal with various types of items, mostly checking quality and making sure everything is packed up tight so nothing gets damaged on the road. My cousin and I run the daily operations here. Sometimes the street gets a bit narrow when the masjid is busy, so we have to time our shipments carefully. We don't really do much retail stuff, it's mostly bulk orders that we prepare for transport. It’s hard work and the hours can be long depending on the season. We just keep our heads down and focus on the tasks at hand. People in the neighborhood know us as the place where the trucks pull up. We try to keep things organized, though it can get a bit messy during the peak weeks when orders are flying in. It’s just a regular local operation making sure things get where they need to go without too much fuss. We've stayed in this spot because it's familiar and we know the neighbors well and we've built a life around this routine.
