Our office is at Ews 55 in Devendra Nagar Sector- 3. It’s a small place, really. We started Bhagwati Job Consultant because we saw so many people looking for work and not knowing where to go. So, we set up this little room with some chairs and a desk. Every day, people come in with their resumes printed out or sometimes just handwritten on a piece of paper. We spend a lot of time talking to them, trying to figure out what they can do and where they might fit. It’s not a fancy recruitment firm with high-end software. It’s mostly just us keeping records in notebooks and calling up local businesses to see if they need any help. The walls are a bit plain and the fan makes a clicking sound, but it gets the job done. Sometimes we can help someone find a job right away, and other times it takes weeks of looking through our lists. We don't promise anything we can't do. We just listen and try to match people with whatever is available in the area. Devendra Nagar is a quiet enough place, and we’ve become a bit of a known spot for locals looking for a start. It’s honest work, and it feels okay when someone comes back to tell us they got the position. We just keep our files organized and wait for the next person.
