D S Constructions Ltd.

You can find us at Flat No. 1, Plot No. 2, in the Raju Complex over in Nehru Nagar (East), Bhilai. It’s a decent spot and we’ve been here long enough that the neighbors know who we are. D S Constructions Ltd. isn't a massive operation with hundreds of people in suits. We are just a small team working out of this office in the complex. Most of our days are spent dealing with the local logistics of building projects around Chhattisgarh. The office is usually filled with rolls of blueprints and samples of tiles or paint. It can get a bit messy, but that’s construction for you. We don’t really do the whole polished corporate thing because it doesn’t fit how we work. We’d rather be on-site checking the foundations than sitting behind a desk all day. Nehru Nagar is a busy area, so there’s always something going on outside our window. Sometimes we have clients come in to talk about their plans, and we just sit around the main table and figure things out. It’s very informal. We’ve had our share of ups and downs with different projects, dealing with the weather or labor issues, but we just keep at it. It’s honest work and it keeps us busy from Monday to Saturday. We don't have a receptionist, so if the phone rings, whoever is closest just picks it up. It’s just a normal, hardworking environment here in Bhilai.
