Being over in Avantivihar, Raipur, you get used to the pace of things. D S Construction Ltd is based at A/10 Anand Niketan. It’s a quiet enough spot when we aren't loading up the trucks. We do a lot of work around Chhattisgarh, mostly just standard building stuff. There’s no big corporate board here, just us trying to keep the projects moving. Sometimes the rain in Raipur slows everything down, which is a bit of a headache, but we get through it. The office isn't much to look at, just a few desks and some old files. We prefer being out where the actual building is happening anyway. It’s honest work. We’ve seen the city grow quite a bit lately, and we’ve had our hands in a few of those projects. We don’t promise anything impossible. We just look at what needs doing and tell you how long it’ll take. If something goes wrong, we fix it. That's the way it goes in construction. We use local materials when we can and work with guys who know what they're doing. It’s not a complicated setup. We just keep our heads down and stay busy. If you’re walking around Anand Niketan, you’ll probably see our sign. It’s been there a while and it's a bit faded, but we’re still here. There is always a new site to visit and another pile of bricks to move. It is what it is.
