Chhattisgarh Captive Coal Mining Ltd.

We work out of an office at J-10 in Anupam Nagar. It’s basically a converted house, so it doesn't feel like a typical corporate building. Chhattisgarh Captive Coal Mining Ltd. might sound like a big, formal name, but our day-to-day here is mostly about logistics and sorting through piles of paperwork. We deal with a lot of reports and government filings every morning. The office gets pretty crowded because we have maps and coal samples sitting on almost every flat surface. Usually, there’s a stack of mail by the door that we never seem to get through. We spend our time on the phone with the guys at the actual mine sites or trying to get the printer to work when it jams. Anupam Nagar is a pretty quiet residential area, which is a nice change from the dusty mining zones. We’ve been at this address for a long time now, and most of the neighbors just know us as the coal office. It isn't a shop where people walk in off the street, so it's mostly just contractors and truck drivers coming by. The air conditioner in the main room makes a loud humming noise all summer, but we just talk over it. Working in the coal industry means things get a bit gritty, even in the office files. We just keep things moving and make sure the operations stay on track. It’s a lot of ordinary work that keeps the big stuff running out in the field.
