Our setup is a bit different because while our name says Raipur, we are actually located over in Satna, Madhya Pradesh. The office is at Prem Vihar Colony in Prem Nagar. You have to look for Rajesh Shukla’s place, which is right by where the retired principal, S.K. Chaturvedi, lives. It’s a residential area, so it’s much quieter here than a big factory floor. We handle the administrative side of the cement business from this house. The pin code is 485001. Most days it is just us going through files, taking calls, and making sure the records are straight. It’s a bit of a trek from the main plant in Chhattisgarh, but this is where the paperwork gets sorted. We’ve been using this address for a long time now. It’s basically just a regular house with some desks and a lot of ledgers. Sometimes neighbors drop by to chat, and it doesn’t feel like a big company office at all. It’s just a practical way for us to manage the back-end stuff without the noise of the machines. We drink a lot of tea and try to stay on top of the documents that come in from the Raipur side. It is a slow pace but the work is important for keeping everything running. We don't have a big sign outside or anything, so you have to know who you are looking for to find us.
