Bal Gopal Child Hospital

We are located on Byron Bazar Road, which most people know because it’s right near the Mahila Police Thane. It is a pretty well-known landmark in this part of Byron Bazar. The hospital is for looking after kids, so there are always toys scattered around and colorful posters on the walls to keep them from getting too scared. It is a busy street outside, with people going to and from the markets. Inside, we have our rooms set up for the little ones. It gets a bit hectic when several families arrive at once, but we just take them one by one. The staff here has been around for a while, so we know how to handle the noise and the energy of a children’s ward. We spend a lot of time washing hands and checking charts. It isn't a glamorous job, but it is necessary. The building itself is older, but it holds up well. We have the basic medical tools needed for kids’ health. Most days are long, and by the evening, we are quite tired, but that’s just how it goes in a hospital. If you are coming down Byron Bazar Road, you’ll see us near the police station. We keep the doors open and just do our best to help the families in the neighborhood. It is a simple place that gets the job done for the local community without any fuss or fancy extras.
