Atelier Design Plus Architects

Atelier Design Plus Architects is our little studio in Raipur. We are at Shop No. 1, right beside Dhebar Plaza in Byron Bazar. It is a good spot, very close to Favara Chouk, which most people in the city know. Architecture is a lot of work, and our office shows it. There are models on the shelves and rolls of paper everywhere. We spend a lot of time arguing about where a window should go or how to make a room feel bigger. It is a creative mess most of the time. The area around Byron Bazar is pretty active, so there is always noise from the street. We like it though; it feels like we are part of the city’s heart. We are not a giant firm with hundreds of employees. We are just a few architects who really care about the buildings we design. We talk to our clients like normal people, not using a lot of technical jargon that nobody understands. If a plan isn't working, we just start over until it does. We’ve been in this shop for a while and have seen Raipur grow so much. It is exciting to be part of that growth, even in a small way. We just take one project at a time and try to do right by the people who hire us. It is a steady, quiet life of designing and planning.
