Annapurna Pulses

Annapurna Pulses is located in Village Kobia. You can find us on Raipur Birla Road. It’s a bit of a drive from the main city, but that suits us just fine. The air is a bit clearer out here, though we create plenty of our own dust at the facility. We work with pulses, mostly cleaning and sorting them before they go out to the markets. Raipur Birla Road gets a lot of heavy trucks, so there’s always noise outside. In Village Kobia, things move a bit slower than in town. We started this because there was a need for it in the area. Our building is basic, just corrugated metal and concrete, but it keeps the rain off the stock. We don't use fancy software to track things, mostly just notebooks and pens. It works for us. The staff here are mostly from the nearby houses. We know their families and they know ours. It’s that kind of place. We don’t have a big mission statement on the wall. We just want to make sure the pulses are clean and the bags are the right weight. Sometimes a machine breaks down and we spend the whole day fixing it with grease on our hands. That’s just life at Annapurna Pulses. We are just a group of people doing a job we know how to do well.
