Our place is House No. 3083, which is near the Durga Mandir in Ganpati Vihar. It’s part of the Changorabhata area in Raipur. We share the space with Rimjhim Sheel, so it’s a very lived-in, local kind of spot. We aren't some distant corporation. We’re right here on the ground, 492001 zip code. Most of our work involves helping out the people who live in the surrounding streets. It could be anything from helping someone find a job to just giving out some supplies. Since we’re so close to the temple, we get a lot of people passing by who stop in to chat. We don’t have a formal reception desk or anything like that. You just walk up to the house. It’s a very informal way of doing things, but it works for us and the neighbors. We’ve lived in Raipur for a long time, so we know how things work here. We aren't trying to change the whole world, just our little corner of it. Sometimes the house gets a bit crowded with stuff we’re organizing, but that’s just how it goes. We prefer it this way, staying close to the people we are actually trying to help. It keeps us honest and keeps us busy every single day of the week. There is always someone coming by with a new story or a request for help, so we never really get bored.
