Amethi Mart

Amethi Mart is located in Ward No 4 on Kakwa Road, right in the Raipur Phulwari area. We are not far from the railway stations at Pure Pathak which brings a lot of different people through this part of town. The shop is on a busy stretch of road and there is always the sound of horns and engines in the background. We try to keep a bit of everything on the shelves so that people don't have to go to three different places for their shopping. The aisles are a bit narrow because we have so much stock packed in there. We have a couple of overhead lights that flicker sometimes but they do the job. My nephew helps me with the heavy lifting when the delivery trucks arrive in the afternoons. It can get a bit chaotic when too many people come in at once and the space feels small. We have a counter near the door where we keep the register and some small items like matches and gum. The floor is made of simple tiles and some of them are cracked from years of people walking on them. We don't have any big posters or bright signs inside, just the products on the shelves. It’s a local place where you can find what you need without much fuss. We open early and stay open until the last trains have passed through for the night.
