Ambuja Cements Ltd

We are over here at Room 205 in the Ace Hostel. It is right inside the Ambuja Cement Colony in Baloda Bazar. Being in Raipur, it gets really hot during the summer months, and you can always see the dust moving around near the plant. This spot isn't some fancy corporate glass building. It is just a basic room where we handle the daily paperwork and keep things moving for the cement side of things. Most people around here live in the colony too, so we see the same faces every morning at the gate. It feels more like a neighborhood than a workplace sometimes. The fans stay on all day because of the Chhattisgarh heat. We don't have any big signs or posters, just the desk and some chairs and a lot of folders stacked up. Life here is pretty steady. You hear the trucks going by early in the morning and late at night. Sometimes the power goes out for a bit, but we just wait it out and get back to work. It is a quiet corner of the colony, away from the main road noise. We spend our time checking figures and making sure the supplies are where they need to be. It is just us doing our jobs in a simple hostel room. It isn't much to look at, but it works for what we need to do every day without much fuss or extra bother from anyone.
