Our studio is at C-2 in Dev Nagari, which is in Amleshwar near Mahadevghat. Raipur is where we spend most of our working hours, but our base in Amleshwar is a bit more relaxed. Being near Mahadevghat is nice because it is a bit of a landmark and the area has a certain feel to it. The office is just a simple building where we have set up our workstations. We have got a few desks and a big table for looking at large prints and drawings. It is usually pretty quiet around here, which helps when we are trying to concentrate on a complicated design. We have a lot of books and old magazines piled up on the shelves for when we need some ideas. We aren't a big corporate office with a lot of employees and fancy meetings. It is just a handful of us who like to draw and build things. We spend a lot of time on the road because we have to visit sites all over the city. The drive from Amleshwar into the main parts of Raipur can be long depending on the traffic. We usually start our day with a quick meeting and some tea. Our walls are covered in notes and sketches from previous projects. We have been in the 492001 area for a while now and we know the local way of working. It is a simple, honest business.
