Accountant

I live and work out in Urdana village. It is a quiet place in the Raigarh district of Chhattisgarh. My office is located at Shri Krishna Kumar Vaishnaw's spot. Being an accountant here means I see a lot of different things from the local community. I don't have a big sign or anything. Most people just know where to find me when they need their accounts checked. I handle the filing and the math so they don't have to worry about it. It’s a lot of sitting and checking figures over and over. I like the pace of life here. It allows me to focus on the details without too much noise. People bring their ledgers from the farm or their small shops. We sit down and go through everything line by line. It takes time, but that is how it should be done. Sometimes the electricity goes out, but I have my ledgers and a pen ready. I’ve been doing this for the neighbors for years now. It’s practical work. No fancy suits or big meetings. Just plain talk about money and taxes. If you are passing through the village and need some help with your papers, you can just ask for the accountant near the Vaishnaw house. I am usually around during the day, unless I am out running an errand in the district center. It is a simple life and the work keeps my mind sharp while helping the folks nearby.
