Aamcho Bastar Samajik Seva Sansthan

We’ve been running Aamcho Bastar Samajik Seva Sansthan for a while now from Jagdalpur. Most people around here in Shanti Nagar know where we are, right in Kushwah Gali near Tanuja Rao’s place. It’s not some big glass building or anything like that, just a regular spot where we get together to figure out how to help the community. Bastar is a unique place and things can be a bit slow or complicated sometimes. We just try to handle whatever comes our way day by day. You’ll usually find someone around if you drop by the ward. The streets get pretty busy in the evenings when the weather cools down a bit. We started this because there was a lot of talk about needing more local support but not enough people actually doing the work on the ground. It’s mostly just us and a few volunteers from the neighborhood who care about the town. We don't have a fancy reception desk or a bunch of paperwork for everything. If someone has a problem, they just walk in and we talk it out over some tea. It feels more natural that way. Being based in Shanti Nagar gives us a good sense of what’s happening with families nearby. We’ve seen kids grow up and things change in Jagdalpur over the years. It’s just home for us and this is what we do to stay busy and helpful.
