We are tucked away in a residential society, which makes the office feel a bit more like a home than a workplace. It’s a ground-floor unit, so it’s easy for people to walk in and out. Kharghar is a developing area, so there’s always construction noise or something happening nearby. We’ve been here for a while now, just doing what we do as a trust. It’s mostly administrative stuff, keeping records of what we are working on and talking to people who need help or information. The space is a bit cramped because we have so many folders and papers everywhere. We don't have a big staff, just a few dedicated people who show up every day. It gets quite humid in Navi Mumbai, so we keep the windows open when there’s a breeze. Being in a housing society means we have to be mindful of the neighbors, so we keep things quiet. It’s a good location for us because it’s accessible to the public. We aren't trying to impress anyone with a fancy lobby. We just want to have a place where we can sit down and get our work finished for the day.
