Shapoorji Pallonji &Co.Ltd.Pune

This is the Shapoorji Pallonji &Co.Ltd. office in Navi Mumbai, over in Kharghar. We are situated at 502, Swami Samarth Chs, in Sector-12. It’s a residential area, so it’s a bit different from the usual industrial zones. Being on the fifth floor gives us a bit of a view of the sector. Kharghar is growing fast, and you can see new buildings going up everywhere you look. Our office is where we handle the coordination for these projects. It’s a simple space. We have some posters on the walls and a lot of binders on the shelves. The staff is local, so many of us commute by the local trains or buses. It gets pretty crowded in the mornings. We usually start the day with a quick talk about what needs to happen by evening. We don't have a big HR team or a cafeteria. We just eat our tiffins at our desks. Sometimes we go down to the local stalls for a snack. It’s a very grounded way of working. We deal with the contractors and the suppliers directly. There is always some paperwork that needs signing or a plan that needs a second look. We are just people who enjoy seeing a project go from a drawing to a real structure. It’s not always easy, but it keeps us busy. We mostly just keep to ourselves and focus on the current building schedule we have.
