Roman Tarmat Ltd.

Our office is in Kharghar, specifically in Sector 12, inside a building called Ocean View Castle. We are in unit C/102. Even though the name sounds a bit fancy, it’s just a normal office building where we get our work done. Roman Tarmat is a large company, but here in Navi Mumbai, we focus on the regional projects like airport surfacing and highway work. The office is usually filled with the sound of keyboards clicking and the occasional phone ringing. We have a lot of binders stacked up on every available surface because there’s so much paperwork in construction. We don’t have any slick marketing posters or anything like that. Instead, we have a few maps of the local area pinned to the walls. The view from the window is mostly of other buildings in Kharghar, which has grown so much lately. We have a small pantry where we make tea and chat about the weekend. It’s a pretty relaxed atmosphere, but we stay busy. Sometimes the elevator in the building is slow, so we take the stairs. We aren't trying to impress anyone with a polished image. We just want to make sure the invoices are paid and the project timelines are being met. It’s a lot of detail-oriented work, and we’ve got a good team of people here who have been with us for a long time. It’s a steady, honest way to make a living in the city.
