You can find Opal Asia Logistics(I) Pvt. Ltd. in Uran, right near Vimla Talav. We are on the first floor of the Neelkanth Co. Hsg. Society, in Room No. 202. It’s a nice enough spot, and being near the water means there is always a bit of a breeze. Uran is a big hub for port activity, so it makes sense for us to be here. The office is right inside a residential society, so it feels very much like being part of the neighborhood. We aren't some big corporate tower. It’s just a regular room with some desks and a couple of computers. We spend our days dealing with the logistics of the harbor. There’s a lot of talk about containers and shipping schedules. Sometimes we look out at the lake when things get a bit quiet or the phones stop ringing for a minute. We don't have a marketing department or anything like that. We just do the work ourselves. If a client calls, they usually talk to the same person every time. We know the local roads and the customs office pretty well. It’s a small operation, but we stay busy. We just focus on making sure the paperwork is correct so the goods don't get stuck at the port. It’s basic, honest work that we've been doing for years. We keep the kettle going and handle the files one by one.
