Om Sai Plastics & Plastic Bag Printer is based right here in Panvel. We’ve been in this area for a good number of years now. Our workshop is usually humming with the sound of the printing machines. It’s a bit of a noisy place to spend the day, but we’ve grown used to the rhythm of it. We mostly make plastic bags and do the printing that goes on them. The space is filled with rolls of material and cans of ink. It isn't a showroom by any means. It’s a working shop where we get stuff done. Panvel has been a good home for us, and we know many of the other business owners nearby. We don't have a big marketing department or anyone to write fancy speeches for us. We just handle the orders as they come in and try to stay on top of the schedule. Sometimes the ink gets on our clothes or the machines need a bit of a nudge to keep going. We don't mind the mess much. It is just part of the process. We don't make big promises. We just print bags and provide plastic products to the people who need them. The floor is always covered in small scraps of plastic that we sweep up at the end of every day. It’s a bit of a never-ending task, but it keeps the place somewhat tidy. We don’t have a fancy office for meetings; we usually just talk to people right there on the shop floor. It’s more direct that way for everyone.
