We are based out in Shilgaon, which is near the Shilphata area in Khopoli. It is part of the Khalapur Taluka in the Raigad district. Being out here is quite a bit different than being in the middle of a big city like Mumbai or Pune. It is a lot quieter and you can actually see some green space when you look out the door. We are part of Nyati Builder Pvt.Ltd. and we handle things from this location. The office isn't anything special, just a practical building that keeps the rain off our heads. We have been here for a while and we know most of the people in the village nearby. Getting here can be a bit of a drive depending on where you are coming from, but we like the pace of things in Raigad. The air is a bit fresher and things do not feel quite as rushed. We spend our days dealing with the local projects and keeping track of what is happening on the ground. Sometimes the power goes out for an hour or two, so we just take a break and sit outside until it comes back on. It is a very simple way of working, but it gets the job done. We are just a small team trying to keep things moving forward without any unnecessary drama or complicated systems. It is just how things go out here in the district.
